STB039 This is a stunning rare Battle Of Adlertag 1940 collectors official limited edition first day cover hand signed by historic Knights Cross awarded WW2 German pilot Walter Krupinski who has personally autographed the souvenir where his signature rests perfectly below the special commemorative frank. The autograph has been officially certified by the publishers with full hallmarking and authenticity of the series on the reverse further detailed with witness signature added for the signing (see image 2) limited to only 125 also detailed on reverse and in truly outstanding condition.
Walter Krupinski (11 November 1920 – 7 October 2000) was a German Luftwaffe fighter ace in World War II and a senior West German Air Force officer during the Cold War. He was one of the highest-scoring pilots in the war, credited with 197 victories in 1,100 sorties
