CHAU4371 This is an original and official 8" x4" personally taken vintage press photo from David Keith Jones of a local Caravanserai (old roadside inns) which the size of the picture and horizontal view enables you to really see the height above the ground of the Caravanserai. David Keith Jones (1933-2022) will always be remembered as one of the most historic photographers of kind. His deep love of travel, history, Africa and wildlife led him and his wife Carla all over Africa & the world, their travels documented by the amazing photos he took from his journeys. In 1968, he moved to Kenya and started publishing photographs and articles where he taught physics for many years. Later he became a fulltime photographer & writer, and was editor of the East African wildlife society magazine 'Swara'. This photo is part of his privately sold collection and reverse has his hand frank for lifetime COA authenticity (see image 2). I believe the handwriting on reverse is Davids too .
