Johan van Oldenbarnevelt, Heer van Berkel en Rodenrijs, Gunterstein and Bakkum was a Dutch statesman and revolutionary who played an important role in the Dutch struggle for independence from the Spanish Empire. Van Oldenbarnevelt was born in Amersfoort.
