CHAU2410 This is an official Jack Steinberger Greetings Card from 1989 profesionally printed by the Nobel Prize winner to send to colleagues notifying them of his Nobel Prize win (scan shows very slight darkening but this is just my scanner letting some light in when scanning as the card is bright white and mint. It is signed by Jack Steinberger where his signature rests perfectly accompanying his portrait in mint condition. There is no better listing than the physicists own official card celebrating his Nobel Prize award in 1989.
Jack Steinberger was a German-born American physicist noted for his work with neutrinos, the subatomic particles considered to be elementary constituents of matter. He was a recipient of the 1988 Nobel Prize in Physics, along with Leon M. Lederman and Melvin Schwartz, for the discovery of the muon neutrino.
