CHAU0203 A vintage 1990s hand signed theatre programme for Brian Lee who was possibly the most famous and best Elvis tribute artist in the 1990s - Please see below for his full bio - He even performed at the London Palladium (no other Elvis tribute act has ever made it to the Palladium in music history - The programme is hand signed on its cover with full colour glossy photos throughout and in outstanding condition. I am also including the 1990s theatre flyer for Graceland The Musical which was a specialist production of Elvis Presley and his life via lighthearted comedy from a Liverpool theatre group that is also mint condition as a free bonus extra.
Brian Lee had a career spanning over 30 years and worked with some of the great 60’s Rock and Roll stars including Mike Berry, John Leyton, Big Jim Sullivan and Jet Harris. A career that shows him as being the only Elvis tribute artist to appear at the London Palladium. In 1989 when the Sun launched their campaign “Is Elvis still alive?” Brian was featured in many of their articles with readers convinced he was Elvis Presley.
Sadly in 1999 at the peak of his career Brian suffered a stroke and lost the use of his arm and also left him with difficulty walking and his amazing voice was also affected however Brian is a fighter and carried on performing to the best of his abilities with shows for the Stroke Association raising a lot of money for the charity. Following some more smaller strokes Brian is now left unable to perform but his career is still remembered.
